Join the Beneficial Electrification League at KPP Energy in Wichita, Kansas to hear from the Department of Agriculture’s Rural Utility Service on how to access funds as they roll out their new funding programs.
The USDA RUS will cover its $10.7 Billion program for IRA sections 22001 and 22004. Under 001 we’ll review the $1 billion for RUS loans for renewable energy infrastructure. Eligible entities include electric service providers, including municipals, cooperatives, investor-owned and Tribal utilities. Under 004 RUS is offering up to $9.7 billion for RUS to offer loans, grants, loan modifications and other financial assistance to support the purchase of renewable energy systems, zero-emission systems and carbon capture systems for cooperatives. Funding also may be used to deploy these systems or to make energy-efficiency improvements to generation and transmission systems of eligible entities.
